The whole world sat amidst this pandemic,
People are dying;
And families are crying.
There is so much death and negativity that has spread,
And everyone's mind is so well fed
With pain and sorrow and fear.
However, amidst all this fear,
There maybe a silver lining in the sky
That like a small little firefly,
will lighten up your world.
All you have to do is look around
And you may just find heaven on earth.
Spread positivity,
Lookout for the small bits of happiness
Things that you can do now, that were impossible when everybody was involved in the rat race.
Spend time with your family, spread love not hate.
Give it time and it will all be fine.
It is time for mother nature to heal,
Someone who has been exploited for years and years.
Someone without whom life cannot sustain,
But we all still took it for granted.
We never gave it back to her,
for all that she had done
and now it her chance to take it back from us.
Cars are not seen on the roads anymore
And the chimneys of the factories let out smoke no more.
We can all feel the difference around,
For we know she is healing.
Waking up to birds chirping,
Or breathing in fresh air,
and not just dust or smoke
Seeing the greenery around your house grow,
And seeing families bond,
And countries uniting just to fight the outbreak,
Just brings so much peace and solace to the soul
And I feel that, maybe, just maybe, this outbreak has made us commence a journey to witness heaven on earth.
