She wishes someone told her "you can't make homes out of human beings." It would've saved her soul, her happiness and most importantly, her heart. What could she do now that no one is there for her? What could she do now that she lost her home? Where would she run off? Her safe place? Her home? And just like that, she has to go back to living as she would four years ago before she met you. Before she fell in love with her best friend, who was with her through thick and thin. Like a rock. Whose fault is it now? Does it even matter anymore? Both apologized to the other. She apologized for making you feel a certain way and you apologized for breaking a promise. "I swear on you no matter what happens, I will never leave." You left while she was still holding on to that promise. I guess she interpreted it differently. But I understand, you're tired of her being "too much." Honestly, do you want to settle for someone who is less work? Someone who doesn't care if you slept well or someone who doesn't care about your future? Someone who just wants you because they don't have anyone else? Because frankly, that is how the world thinks today.
There was a certain level of comfort she felt with you. A certain level of warmth that she doesn't feel with anyone else. Now, it's all coming crashing down and she has to build herself up again. Surround herself with walls made of something thicker than concrete instead of the glass ones which you broke. Now, she has to revisit the feelings of her first heart-break; only this time, the intensity is much greater. Like when you're on a rollercoaster and you're going up, slowly and you keep going until you're at the top. And then, you jerk to a halt. You feel like you're on top of the world and take a good long view from the top. Suddenly before you could complete setting your eyes on every building, you feel your stomach drop and your heart feels like it would fall out anytime. What can you do? Scream it out loud or take it all in and wait for the ride to be over.
You know she can't scream so she will take it in whatever you throw her way until her heart explodes and she can't ride anymore. She will take it until her heart stops beating. Until the day she has no life. Only for you. You let her go because you knew she could do better and now that she's gone you're wondering if you should've just been better. You see, she was everything real in a world of make-believe—her soul, her happiness and most importantly, her heart. Go, get her before she starts to fall in love with her memories than the person standing in front of her. Before you go, remember to love her but to leave her wild.
