Is there another 'you' out there? Do you think that in the whole entirety of space and time that there is only one universe where people like you and me exist? From science fiction to science fact , the concept suggests that we are not the only ones out there. There could be another universe besides our own, where all the choices you made in this life have played out in alternate realities.Perhaps our Universe, with the version of events we’re familiar with, isn’t the only one out there. Perhaps there are other Universes, perhaps even with different versions of ourselves, different histories and alternate outcomes from what we’ve experienced. This isn’t just fiction, but one of the most exciting possibilities brought up by theoretical physics. This concept is known as parallel universe which is an aspect of multiverse. In quantum physics, the parallel universe is theorized as existing alongside our own although undetectable. In a much more real and simple sense, it follows the laws of probability which suggests that for every outcome of one of your actions, played out in a range of universes. For example in one universe you went on a vacation to Italy safely while in another universe your plane crashed on your way . As vast as our universe might be,the part that we can see and access is finite. There is more to what we can see and access . There are more galaxies and universes that are not in our reach. It doesn't mean that we are at the center of the universe. The evidence indicates something quite contrary to that. The reason the Universe appears finite in size to us, the reason we can’t see anything that’s more than a specific distance away isn’t because the Universe is actually finite in size, but is rather because the Universe has only existed in its present state for a finite amount of time. The Multiverse or Parallel universe has also been shown in many comic books, video games, television movies . Franchises ranging from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter to Marvel Universe to Stranger Things. Therefore, there is a high chance of us not being alone in this universe. There might just be another you out there.
